We're Filled Up!
Our two rooms have been transformed recently thanks to donations of bookcases, awesome cubbies for storing fabric, and many hours of volunteer help -- sincere thanks to all y'all!
We've taken a break from collecting in earnest while working to make room for more of the "regular" scrap that we know you still want to send our way.
In the meantime, we'll continue with TerraCycle collections, and we have an interim wishlist:
- bottle caps
- knitting & sewing needles
- crochet hooks -- all sizes
- measuring tapes (for sewing)
- scissors and glues -- all kinds
- jewelry findings & wire-wrapping tools
- craft wire -- all gauges and colors
- clear storage bins -- various sizes
- pegboard hooks
- small, clean plastic bags with Ziplock closures
- empty shopping bags -- various sizes for our shoppers to use
Plus a few somewhat unusual requests:
- NON-functioning computer mice, keyboards and even gaming remotes, steering wheels, etc., for specific projects we have planned
- a doctor's scale (read-out doesn't get covered up by what we're weighing)
You know what else?: SHOPPERS! We sell fun stuff for very little of your hard-earned cash, and everything that leaves our space makes room for more of your scrappy donations.
